A fire occurred affecting two industrial units in Wokingham. The units were the end two of a terrace of similar construction. The right-hand end unit was destroyed to the extent where full demolition was required. The adjoining units required significant repair. It was essential that the external appearance was maintained in order to provide uniformity to the remainder of the industrial estate.

Bedfords Surveyors were asked to provide design drawings, obtain Planning Approval, specify and seek competitive tenders on the reinstatement works and to undertake contract administration and manage CDM through to completion. Works progressed well with the aid of a good team of contractors and M&E service engineers from our extensive database.

Works were completed on time and within budget and to the satisfaction of all parties.
