A discarded cigarette led to a major blaze in a four-bedroomed bungalow in north Wales. The inside of the property was completely gutted, with only the external walls remaining.

Bedfords Surveyors were appointed to carry out the reinstatement. Apart from the external walls, the property was entirely re-built, including a new roof. The owner, Mrs Clubbe, took the opportunity to modernise and to make a few internal changes, including a more open plan kitchen.

The result is a bright and airy bungalow with a very modern feel. According to Mrs Clubbe, “I have been very satisfied with progress, and I have been very happy to work with Bedfords. The bungalow looks beautiful.”
